The Great!!!!!!!! One of my most beloveds of recent years! I really feel like spiritually it and OFMD are holding hands, maybe in a way where The Great's more the April Ludgate and OFMD's more Andy Dwyer. I am so obsessed with Elle Fanning's Catherine. I just think she got completely slept on by society for three seasons of totally magnificent acting.
Love Birds definitely kinda felt like it was wandering around weirdly -- why WAS that real estate bro dude there at all? What were they doing with that? And did the Queen motif thing totally work? Not sure -- but I also found Rhys Darby's peak handsomeness while duck nurturing and living in that great house and wooing the always-divine Sally Hawkins really fantastic. Also, whenever David Fane pops up in something NZ, I'm just so happy.
