Summary of ep 2 of Starter Wife now available.

Many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] anxietygrrl for the beta read. Not only is she HILARIOUS (re: my reference to Data--"Not even Yancy Butler in Mann and Machine"...BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!), but she's got an eagle eye for grammar and spelling.

My written thingamajig about the first ep of Starter Wife is up at Boob Tube. Even if you're not remotely interested in the series and my thoughts about Joe Mantegna's chinos, you may like the opening paragraph that gives you a slice of Jessie circa high school.

Talking with Duse on the phone last night reminded me of the time she and I skipped softball practice to drive up to Stillwater and see Schindler's List. What rebels, we two.
