I feel like my struggle with what is, on the face, A Mystery Show is that this one is far more interested in philosophy and the journey of being human. And I felt like S3 did a better job holding those competing areas of focus in balance. This latest season... when the not happenings were happening, sometimes I wanted to argue with what I saw as its philosophical position.
