1) Visited Mike and Kate. Had a day in Boston, then spent several days on Martha's Vineyard. Read one book (Marrying the Ketchups), abandoned another (Mrs Fletcher by Tom Perrotta... sorry, Tom, don't think I'll be reading that so I left it amongst the Martha's-set mysteries and paperback Stephen Kings), a lot of good conversation and food, re-learned how to play War (a skill-less game that, like Uno, will wind a person up), watched Cats completely sober with Kate (oof mah GOOF), then came home.
2) I'm nearly done with S3 Starstruck already so I need another romantic comedy series to watch, preferably one starring one or more Kiwi actors. Anyone have any recs?
3) One of my fave podcasts was recently grousing about S3 Only Murders. Is that the consensus? That this season is Not Good? I've been enjoying it enough!
4) I'm really back into live comedy again after seeing several stand-up shows in the past few months. I have one more plus a live podcast whatchamadinger lined up in the coming months. It's slower going with live theater, partially because this is not Chicago and partially because seasons for tour and local stuff have been hit-or-miss (or, more frequently, because *cough* I saw things either in NYC or Chicago before they made their way here).
5) ... Our Flag Means Death S2 is in two more sleeps. I'm... mildly excited.
ETA: Oh, I'm also watching S2 Welcome to Wrexham. Over in the UK and those parts, they call it FOOTBALL!
